Hope and happiness in troubled times

  • KMC Vancouver 1833 Victoria Diversion Vancouver, BC, V5N 2K2 Canada (map)

In our fast-changing and often uncertain world, it is easy to feel overwhelmed, disheartened, or anxious about the future. This half‑day course offers practical wisdom and meditation methods from Kadampa Buddhism to help us find genuine hope and inner happiness, even in the midst of difficulty.

Through teachings and guided meditations, we will explore how to develop a peaceful mind that remains stable when faced with personal or global challenges. By learning to view life’s obstacles through the lens of wisdom and compassion, we can discover a deeper sense of confidence and inspiration that does not depend on circumstances.

Between sessions, there will be a short break for refreshments and quiet reflection. No prior experience is needed; everyone is welcome.
