International Fall Festival

  • International Kadama Retreat Center 6701 East Mountain Ranch Road Williams, AZ, 86046 United States (map)

In this online space, we share information, inspiration, and words of wisdom ahead of this year’s NKT-IKBU Fall Festival at the International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon in Northern Arizona.

First of all, find out everything you need to know about the Festival here on the official website

  • Fly into Phoenix or Las Vegas. The Festival is organizing shuttles to take you to the IKRC.

  • Inspiration and wisdom from Jill and Todd, who are presently at Manjushri for Summer Festival, but who kindly took the time to give us some ideas about their budget-friendly approach to Festival attendance:

    1. camp! Jill and Todd have camped at festivals for many years–this saves them considerable money in terms of accommodation. You can camp onsite at IKRC for $15/person/night–a bargain! And breakfast is included in your camping fees–a yummy yes to that!

    2. Jill and Todd’s Super Duper List of Indispensable Camping Items: inflatable camping mattress and foot pump, warm bedding and pillow, hot water bottle, eye covers and ear plugs, a headlamp, a Dharma book 🙂

    3. book your travel early, i.e, NOW! Flights can be booked to Las Vegas or to Phoenix from BC for very reasonable rates. Festival organizers also provide shuttles to take you from the airports in Las Vegas and Phoenix to IKRC.

    4. all-inclusive joyful holiday–invaluable! For a set price, you receive teachings, meditations, an empowerment, a retreat, and meals. For fee details, please check here: https://kadampafestivals.org/fall/fall-festival-fees  Most adult attendees will pay $16/day for food, and around $300 for the full festival–another bargain. Connecting with Sangha from around the world and receiving remarkable Dharma teachings = invaluable.

  • Great hotels with shuttle transport every day to the Festival site, the IKRC
