The essentials of Buddhist meditation
This course is a practical and inspiring guide to Buddhist meditation. Based on The New Meditation Handbook, we will take an in-depth look at why we meditate, how meditation works, and explore some essential Buddhist concepts that empower our meditation practice.
Take your meditation practice to the next level! Develop confidence in your ability to change your mind through meditation and experience real happiness that you can share with others.
These meditation classes are for everyone. They include two guided meditations, a practical talk on a different topic each week, and time for Q&A at the end.
Each class is self-contained, so you are welcome to join at any time. No previous experience is required.
The venue
The classes are held at Gordon Neighbourhood House, a peaceful, friendly oasis in the heart of the West End.
