~a retreat on the Bodhisattva’s way of life

Retreat offers an opportunity to take a real break mentally from the stresses of daily life. We can gently change our negative  thought patterns in the encouraging environment of Kadampa Meditation Centre Vancouver, a space dedicated to helping everyone find real refuge from the storms of life. The meditations offered in this retreat help us to develop this refuge.

The Teacher

Gen Kelsang Delek is a Buddhist nun who has been studying and practising in the Kadampa tradition under the guidance of her teacher, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for over 30 years. She has taught extensively throughout Canada and the UK. Known for her warm, inspiring example as a contemporary Buddhist practitioner, her heartfelt teachings are infused with a practicality that make them easy to practice and integrate into daily life.  She has a wonderful ability to show the power of Buddhist meditation to solve our daily problems and find happiness.
