About the course
Have you ever said - I'd like to meditate, but I can't. It doesn't work for me?
Meditation is a skill that can be learned through practice, following qualified and methodical instructions. With support, anyone can experience the real benefits of meditation!
In this course we will gradually build up our skills and develop an understanding of the real purpose and power of developing a meditation practice, following the qualified teachings of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. His teachings are clear transmissions of Buddha's wish for everyone to develop the real causes of happiness in their mend.
These classes are for everyone, and after-class discussion and Q&A are encouraged.
Each class is self-contained, so you are welcome to join, even after the series has started. No previous experience is required. We recommend booking in advance, but you can drop-in as well.

The classes are held in the beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming atmosphere of Kadampa Meditation Centre Vancouver

The Teacher
Inkeri Meharg is a senior Kadampa teacher who has been practicing for nearly 25 years. She brings a wealth of practical experience of integrating Buddhist teachings with daily life.
Inkeri often teaches the Learn to Meditate courses at Kadampa Meditation Centre Vancouver.
