Guide to a Joyful Life
Each and every one of us has the capacity to experience deep inner peace and joy. But how do we actually do this? We tend to look for happiness outside ourselves, in our possessions, relationships and so on, but is this search ever entirely satisfying? By learning and practising Buddhist methods and meditations, it is possible to find within ourselves the inner peace and joy we’ve always longed for.
These classes are for everyone. They offer simple, practical methods to improve the quality of our lives and develop inner peace. They include two guided meditations, a practical talk on a different topic each week, and time for Q&A at the end.
Each class is self-contained, so you are welcome to join at any time. No previous experience is required.
The Venue
The classes are held in the peaceful, friendly, and comfortable surroundings of the Gordon Neighbourhood House.
